Refractive surgery

My own specialty since 2012: the correction of refractive error.

Spectacle removal by LASIK, ICL and IPCL. I hold the Gold Medal for the highest number of IPCL surgeries performed in the North Region.

Cataract surgery

Phacoemulsification cataract surgery at Netram, and free of cost at the doorstep through my foundation.

Through the Foundation's Nayan Hans programme, screening and advanced phaco surgery reach patients where they live, free of cost.

My journey

Two decades, one vision

From King George's Medical University to a super-speciality centre in C.R. Park, a foundation in twenty-four states, and the TEDx stage.

2009

I completed my MS in Ophthalmology at King George's Medical University, Lucknow, and went on to my senior residency at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi.

2012

My cornea and refractive practice began as a specialist ophthalmologist at Max and Fortis, Gurgaon. I organised my first charitable eye and health camps the same year.

2013

I left Max and Fortis to found Netram, a super-speciality eye centre in a two-room basement at C.R. Park, and Netram Eye Foundation, an all-India society with one vision: Good Health for All.

50+

Netram grew into hospitals in Delhi NCR, with over 50 people and a panel of super-specialists with cutting-edge technology covering everything from a general examination to complex surgery.

The Foundation's camps reached twenty-four states, from Delhi and the NCR to Assam, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu: Project Roshini, Nayan Hans, Eye Mela and Mission 6/6.

2026

Forbes India named me among its Business Leaders Defining Modern Success, and I gave a TEDx talk, "The Power of Sight", on how vision shapes opportunities.

I am fortunate to be sought out within the ophthalmology fraternity for my surgical and clinical work. I have launched several new drug formulations in India for national and international pharmaceutical companies, and recent platforms include IIRSI Chennai 2023, HOA Vista 2023, the CII Delhi Healthcare Summit 2025 and TEDx 2026.
